- Honourable Life Member of the Professional Photographers of Canada, (PPOC).
- Honourable Life Member of the Professional Photographers Association of British Columbia, (PPABC).
- Honourable Life Member of the Professional Photographers of America, (PPA).
- Former member of the American Society of Photographers, and of the National Association of Photographic Art, now the Canadian Assoc. of Photographic Art.
- "Certificate of Recognition" for Services and Advancement of Photography from the Photographic Society of America. (Received in June 1960).
- "Founder Citation" from Professional Photographers of Canada..
- Received "Craftsman of Photographic Art," CPA, in 1975; "Master of Photographic Art," MPA, degrees in 1978 from PPOC and the "Photographic Craftsman" Degree from the PPA in 1986.
- Two special Awards -- a Bronze and Silver Medal from the New York, NY World Fair 1964/65 ‘The World and its People'.
- Had Work accepted at the "EUROPHOT 77 BEOGRAD" 1977 Exhibition in Yugoslavia.
- Participant of "First Annual British Columbia Festival of the Arts" in Kamloops 1982 - with work exhibited and lecturing.
- National Award for Service to Professional Photography from the Professional Photographers of America in 1970.
- PPOC National citation in 1996, (Professional Photographers of Canada)
- "First Award" 1974 for best black and white Portrait at the 27th PPOC National Print Show.
- Recognition for judging and speaking (lecturing in French) from "Les Photographes Professionnels du Quebec" in 1981.
- Twice "Photographer of the Year" of British Columbia in l970 and 1975.
- Two years President of the Professional Photographers of British Columbia, 1970 and 1971.
- Two years president of the Professional Photographers of Canada, 1979 and 1980.
- Two years president of the "Penticton & District community Arts Council, 1965 and 1966
- Two years chairman of the Okanagan Summer School of the Arts, 1981/82 and 1982/83.
- Twelve years CBC-TV news reporter until 1976.
- Speaker and lecturer to professional and amateur photographers since 1968.
- Operated his own School of Photography in the 1980s.
- Since 1953 has had photographs accepted for exhibition in international salons in Canada, the USA, Italy, Luxembourg and Yugoslavia.
- Photographic exhibitions in art galleries in Midland, Ontario, Calgary, Toronto, Vancouver and several times in the Art Gallery of the South Okanagan in Penticton.
