“I Trulli di Alberobello”
| The word 'Trullo' means 'cupola' and comes from the Greek. It refers to the dome shaped, flat rock, rustic roof construction, typical of a small area in the Italian Region 'Puglia', especially at Alberobello. The walls, being all white, lend friendliness to the place and those different roof shapes make a strange impression when first encountered: they are, photographically, quite stimulating. | |
