“St. Lazare Cathedral, Autun, France”
| The light filtering through those three windows on the right was imparting a spiritual mood to this peaceful scene. It is the interior of the Autun Cathedral, France. Discovering a small spiral staircase in one of the columns, and an opening midway up, gave me the opportunity to take the photograph from this viewpoint with my Hasselblad SW and 90 degree wide-angle lens. It also looks very strong and majestic in black & white. | |
